From the side, the new body proportions and style of the ID.3 stand out. The pure electric platform makes the short front and rear suspension design possible. At the same time, the long wheelbase makes the vehicle stretch and also makes it eye-catching. Under the outline of the design lines and contours, the smooth body surface is harmonious and unified, bringing a pleasant sensory enjoyment.
The glass tailgate is black to distinguish it from the body and runs across the rear of the car. The large rear windshield is flanked by vertical aerodynamic components, under which the slender LED taillights extend laterally for a highly recognizable visual effect. The ID.3 1ST's panoramic sunroof with a black border is very transparent and can be opened by sliding or tilting. This is the largest sunroof in any Volkswagen model, which not only gives a panoramic view of the sky, but also increases headroom - creating a new sense of wide space.
